What happened: Los Angeles recovered a fumble in overtime of its Monday night game. Aaron Donald fell on the loose ball after a punch-out to give the Rams possession with the next score decisive.

Why it matters: Overtime possession puts Los Angeles one scoring drive from ending the game. A takeaway in that spot shifts the remaining pressure to holding the lead if it scores.

What to watch: Los Angeles takes over with a chance to win it with a score. A stop without points would hand back possession under the same sudden-death terms.
