What happened: ESPN premieres 'Being Ben' on Oct. 19 at 4 PM ET, with availability on Disney+ and the ESPN App. Green placed Simmons at his best in that group as part of the rollout for Simmons' attempt to return to the league.

Why it matters: The praise lands a day after MRI confirmed Simmons tore his Achilles and will miss the entire 2026-27 season. Sacramento expected him to start the opener before the injury at Sunday practice.

What to watch: Sacramento opens without its expected starting guard while Simmons begins recovery.
