What happened: Speaking on ESPN, Draymond Green said of Steve Kerr's future with the Warriors, "I think and hope he's coming back." The remark addresses ongoing speculation around Kerr's status as Golden State's head coach. Green did not indicate that any decision has been made.

Why it matters: Kerr has been the face of the Warriors' coaching staff through the franchise's championship era, and any uncertainty over his return shapes the team's direction heading into the offseason. A returning coach signals continuity for a roster that has navigated injuries and roster churn this season. Green's public endorsement carries weight given his standing as a longtime core piece.

What to watch: Watch for an official statement from Kerr or the Warriors front office on his coaching status. Any change would reverberate through Golden State's offseason planning.
