What happened: Erica Wheeler scored 13 points with two assists for Los Angeles, while Nneka Ogwumike added 11 points, three assists, and two rebounds. Allisha Gray connected on two 3-pointers on her way to 11 points and two assists for Atlanta. Angel Reese grabbed six rebounds alongside two assists during the first two quarters on USA Network.

Why it matters: Atlanta entered the matchup with a 13-10 record this season after losing four of its previous five contests, looking to snap a one-game skid. Los Angeles sits at 11-11 overall and is attempting to extend a two-game winning streak highlighted by Ogwumike joining the 3,000 field goals made club against Chicago. A victory would allow Atlanta to build momentum ahead of the upcoming All-Star break while keeping pace in the Eastern Conference standings.

What to watch: Both teams will return for the third quarter as Los Angeles attempts to reduce the eleven-point deficit. Following the contest, the league pauses regular-season action for the 2026 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game weekend.
