TAKING WHAT'S OURS 😤 With 373 steals on the season, the Dream have now set a new WNBA record! https://t.co/sduDIY8XaA

What happened: Atlanta reached 373 steals on the season to set a new WNBA record while holding an 86-66 lead over Chicago in live play. Reese has the game high with 20 points, along with seven rebounds and four assists.

Why it matters: A league record gives Atlanta a clear marker for the defensive pressure it has sustained deep into the season. The margin has also been supported by production from Allisha Gray and Rhyne Howard, keeping Atlanta in control even with Reese posting the top individual scoring line.

By the numbers: By the numbers: Atlanta leads 86-66 in progress; Reese has 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists; Gray has 17 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists; Howard has 14 points, 1 rebound and 4 assists; the Dream are up to 373 steals, a new WNBA record.

What to watch: Watch whether Atlanta adds to the record total as the game continues. Reese's scoring line remains the clearest pressure point if Chicago makes a push.
