What happened: Pierre-Luc Dubois spoke with Mike Vogel about his current line combination as they prepare for preseason action. He emphasized that the hockey IQ and experience of his wingers make his own responsibilities significantly easier to manage.

Why it matters: Forming a cohesive two-way unit is a focal point during these exhibition evaluations. Dubois entered training camp fully healthy and is actively building chemistry with his latest linemates. A reliable defensive presence from this trio would stabilize the forward corps ahead of the regular season.

What to watch: The line will take the ice against the Rangers to test their development in game conditions. Their performance will help determine if this combination stays intact for the upcoming campaign.
