What happened: Dunkin presented the contribution to Leveling the Playing Field on Aug. 10 at the Eagles’ Jefferson Health Training Complex. The money came through Touchdowns for Kids, which tied giving to Philadelphia’s regular-season scoring.
Why it matters: The funding targets equipment costs that can keep children from joining organized sports across Greater Philadelphia. Youth players and coaches from LPF-supported programs also attended training camp during the presentation.
By the numbers: Dunkin pledged $500 per touchdown. Philadelphia scored 48 regular-season touchdowns to generate $24,000, and an additional $1,000 brought the gift to $25,000.
