What happened: The Philadelphia Eagles have re-signed linebacker Chandler Martin. The transaction returns the second-year defender to the roster just days after he was released in a procedural roster move.

Why it matters: Martin joins a competitive linebacker room in Philadelphia as the team prepares for the 2026 season. His most likely path to making the final 53-man roster will be proving his value as a core special teams contributor.

What to watch: Martin's health and special teams performance during offseason workouts will be critical to his chances of securing a roster spot.
