What happened: The development was a seven-step straight dropback run from under center. It stood out as a departure from Philadelphia's usual under-center operation.

Why it matters: Straight dropback from under center resets launch point and protection timing. Seven-step depth extends the route concept and tests edge protection.

What to watch: The next step is whether Philadelphia repeats the look or shelves it as a one-off.
