What happened: VJ Edgecombe finished a soaring dunk during Philadelphia's Blue x White scrimmage in South Philly on Saturday.

Why it matters: The intrasquad run offered one of the first public looks at Philadelphia's remade roster before the 2026-27 preseason slate moves forward. XMobileArena hosted three 10-minute games, giving the club a short live test in front of fans.

By the numbers: Philadelphia split the event into three 10-minute games, a 30-minute scrimmage load before formal preseason action.

What to watch: The next clues will come from Philadelphia's preseason rotations and whether Edgecombe's athletic burst carries into those minutes.
