What happened: Atlanta coach Stefanski said things are trending the right way for AJ Terrell to be designated to return from injured reserve. He said the team wants to get through the next couple days before making that move.

Why it matters: A return designation would open Terrell's practice window and move Atlanta closer to restoring a starting cornerback. His availability shapes the Falcons' secondary rotation and game-day inactive decisions.

What to watch: The decision comes after the next couple days of practice and evaluation.
