What happened: A fan survey singled out Hugo Gonzalez as the player supporters most want kept out of potential offseason trade packages. The discussion comes as the front office weighs free agents and trades around last year's roster.

Why it matters: The vote signals how much value fans place on Gonzalez's upside even after a smaller playoff role. It also frames a key offseason tension: whether to preserve a young piece or use him in a package for a more proven player.

What to watch: Watch whether Gonzalez's name surfaces in trade reporting as offseason activity picks up. Any front-office comments on his role will shape how seriously fans should treat the survey result.
