What happened: Offseason discussion around the Indiana Fever now includes the possibility that a Fever star could be in a different uniform in 2027. The idea lands a day after Indiana's playoff run ended and pushes the conversation beyond lineup tweaks.

Why it matters: Any move at the top of the roster would reshape how the Fever build after Indiana's playoff exit and raise the stakes on every other personnel decision. It would also turn a shooting-and-fit debate into a broader question about roster stability heading into next season.

What to watch: Watch for concrete offseason actions from Indiana's front office, whether that is a public response, a contract decision or talks that move beyond speculation.
