What happened: The Portland Fire visit the Washington Mystics tonight at 7 p.m. ET on NBA TV. The two sides last met on June 28, when Washington escaped with a 124-123 win in quadruple overtime behind Sonia Citron's 32 points.

Why it matters: Washington carries a two-game win streak into the rematch, while Portland has dropped its last game. The June 28 thriller was decided by a single point after four extra periods, and tonight's meeting adds another data point to a series already defined by close finishes.

By the numbers: Mystics: 12-10, WWLWW in last five, averaging 81.1 points and allowing 83.2. Fire: 10-15, LWLWL in last five, averaging 84.6 points and allowing 90.9. Washington is listed as with an 5.

What to watch: Tip is set for 7 p.m. ET on NBA TV, with both sides looking to avoid a repeat of June's overtime marathon.
