What happened: The Calgary Flames recalled forward William Stromgren and goaltender Arsenii Sergeev from the AHL Wranglers on Friday. The roster moves reinforce Calgary's depth at forward and in goal.

Why it matters: The promotions provide the Flames with immediate roster flexibility at both ends of the ice. Stromgren offers another option in the forward rotation, while Sergeev gives the organization additional coverage in net.

What to watch: The Flames host the Seattle Kraken on Friday, with puck drop set for 8:00 PM ET.
