What happened: The Florida Bar placed computer technician Kade McLendon on administrative leave Tuesday pending an investigation into alleged Instagram messages to Miami defensive lineman Damon Wilson II. The messages, which Wilson shared Sunday, included racist and homophobic slurs and a threat to "rape, beat and kill ur family" after Saturday's 43-35 double-overtime win over Florida State.

Why it matters: The action places a workplace-conduct investigation around Miami, now 6-0 and ranked No. 1 nationally after the rivalry win. The Bar said the messages violate its employee social media policy and that due process protections apply as the review continues.

By the numbers: Wilson has 3.5 sacks and four tackles in his first Miami season after stints at Georgia and Missouri. Miami is 6-0 after the 43-35 double-overtime result against Florida State.

What to watch: The Bar said its internal investigation remains ongoing. Miami hosts Pittsburgh on Saturday.
