What happened: A former Pittsburgh Penguins and Toronto Maple Leafs forward signed an extension with Farjestad BK. The agreement keeps NHL-experienced depth with the Swedish club.

Why it matters: Retaining a veteran with NHL experience stabilizes Farjestad's forward rotation. Continuity matters for role allocation during the 2026-27 season.

What to watch: Farjestad moves forward with its extended forward available for the remainder of the campaign.
