What happened: The selections followed a 1-0 road victory on Aug. 20. The result extended a run of shutout wins to four matches.

Why it matters: A 12-point sweep has strengthened the club's position in the 2026 MLS playoff race. Four consecutive clean sheets offer a reliable formula for protecting that place.

By the numbers: The club is 12-2-6 with a plus-five goal difference through 20 league matches.

What to watch: The next league match is scheduled for Aug. 23.
