What happened: Orlando ruled Franz Wagner out for the remainder of Sunday's exhibition matchup against Miami due to right shoulder soreness. The forward entered the night having played in Friday's preseason contest after posting 10 early points against Cleveland on Oct. 13.

Why it matters: The mid-game exit cuts short Wagner's final tune-up before the 2026-27 regular season tips off Tuesday. Orlando simultaneously pared its roster to 17 players, including three two-way contracts, ahead of opening night.

What to watch: Orlando shifts toward its regular-season opener following Tuesday's league-wide tip-off, when pregame status reports will clarify Wagner's availability.
