What happened: Former Kansas City Chiefs cornerback and special teamer Nazeeh Johnson is visiting the New York Giants on Thursday, per @RapSheet. The trip is part of an NFC East tour that included a stop with the Philadelphia Eagles earlier this week. Johnson remains an unsigned free agent heading into the 2026 season.

Why it matters: Secondary and special-teams depth is a recurring offseason need for the Giants, who are still building out the back end of their roster ahead of training camp. A multi-team NFC East tour suggests Johnson is generating interest from contenders in the division, and signing him would give New York a familiar AFC West face in a coverage-heavy role. The Eagles visit earlier in the week also signals a competitive market that could accelerate any offer.

What to watch: Watch for a contract announcement out of either New York or Philadelphia in the coming days. If Johnson leaves the Giants facility without a deal, expect at least one more NFC East stop before he signs.
