What happened: Gabby prepared for Golden State's next playoff game with the Valkyries level at 1-1 in the series against Dallas. The latest status still had the score at 0-0 before tip.

Why it matters: The split leaves neither side carrying an edge into the next game, so the series starts this night back on even terms. For Golden State, that makes the opening stretch the first chance to push the matchup off dead center.

What to watch: Watch for how quickly Golden State settles once the opening possessions arrive. The series stays even until one side creates the first separation of the night.
