What happened: Denver Broncos left tackle Garett Bolles expressed high praise for new offensive coordinator Davis Webb during the 2026 offseason. Bolles highlighted Webb's aggressive 'let it rip' mentality and his ability to connect with players as a former pro who retired in 2023.

Why it matters: Webb’s promotion marks a landmark shift, as Sean Payton has delegated play-calling duties for the first time in his career. The offensive reset follows Webb's successful stint as QB coach, where he oversaw historical production from Bo Nix.

By the numbers: Bo Nix under Webb (2024-2025): 7,500+ passing yards and 50 touchdowns. Davis Webb retired as an NFL quarterback in 2023 before ascending to OC in three seasons.

What to watch: The Broncos head into the 2026 campaign with Webb orchestrating the offense as they look to build on Nix's record-breaking start.
