What happened: Dallas Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens voiced frustration following a loss to the previously 0-4 Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In an interview with Josina Anderson, Pickens addressed slamming his helmet on the sideline and stated, 'You gotta win the games you're supposed to win.'

Why it matters: The defeat to a winless opponent exacerbates issues for a Dallas squad whose defense sits last in expected points added per drive over a 22-game sample size. Pickens delivered a highly productive individual performance but highlighted the failure to execute in a favorable matchup.

By the numbers: Pickens caught nine passes for 130 yards and one touchdown against Tampa Bay. He entered the season following a 2025 campaign where he recorded 93 receptions for 1,429 yards and nine touchdowns across 17 games.

What to watch: Dallas will attempt to correct its execution issues as the team prepares for its next regular-season matchup.
