What happened: Georgia Amoore, who went 3-for-3 from beyond the arc in an August outing, connected on a step-back jumper from the corner during WNBL play. The Australian league opened its WNBL27 schedule on Oct. 15 with broadcasts carried on 9Now and ESPN via Disney+.

Why it matters: Amoore transitions into the WNBL27 schedule after wrapping up her 2026 WNBA calendar, which included a return from September knee soreness and an appearance at Capital Queens Week on Oct. 2. The Australian season gives the guard live game reps during the WNBA offseason.

What to watch: WNBL27 opening-week action continues across the league's six-game slate.
