What happened: Woolley made her top-flight debut last season before returning to state-level competition this winter. League clubs are currently filling open roster spots ahead of the September tip-off in Townsville.

Why it matters: Available backcourt positions across the competition are narrowing as rotations solidify. The Sydney Flames have completed their 2026-27 squad with center Darcy Rees, and the expansion Tasmania Jewels signed South Australian guard Brooke Basham.

What to watch: Further player signings and roster confirmations require formal league approval prior to training camps.
