What happened: Gerrit Cole is lined up for the Yankees against Eduardo Rodriguez in the next game on MLB Network. The scheduled matchup is still 0-0 before first pitch.

Why it matters: The setup puts a featured Yankees start in a national TV window with Cole matched against Rodriguez. With the game not yet underway, the pitching matchup is the central development rather than any result.

What to watch: Watch for first pitch and the first in-game turn once the broadcast begins.
