What happened: Cam Skattebo is listed as questionable following Sunday's road victory in Houston, though the running back is expected to be OK after the overtime hamstring issue. Josina Anderson spotlighted the breakout performance on Exhibit News Network following New York's Week 7 win.

Why it matters: The overtime road result strengthens New York's early NFC playoff positioning while pushing Houston deeper into an AFC hole after seven games. Selected 105th overall out of Arizona State in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, Skattebo's availability remains central to the Giants' ground game.

By the numbers: New York improves to 4-2-1 (No. 3 seed, W1 streak) while Houston falls to 2-5 (No. 13 seed, L1 streak); per ESPN, Skattebo totaled 101 carries for 410 yards and 5 touchdowns across 8 games in 2025.

What to watch: Monitor New York's Week 8 practice participation reports to see if Skattebo is limited by the hamstring tweak.
