What happened: New York is expected to alter its backfield distribution ahead of today's scheduled game, per Adam Schefter and Jordan Raanan. Najee Harris is projected to take on an expanded workload while Cam Skattebo steps into a reduced role.

Why it matters: Skattebo remains part of the offensive mix despite the downgrade on the depth chart. Shifting primary touches to Harris gives the Giants a veteran ball-carrier to anchor the ground game after he joined the roster in August.

What to watch: Pregame warmups and the opening offensive series after kickoff will clarify how the coaching staff divides the early-down snaps between Harris and Skattebo.
