What happened: The New York Giants are anticipating a rain-heavy game against the Washington Commanders on Sunday in Landover. The team is preparing for a ground-centric approach amid a 100 percent chance of precipitation.

Why it matters: Cam Skattebo expects to play despite wearing a red no-contact jersey during Wednesday's practice due to shoulder tightness. The expected weather conditions will elevate the running back's role against a Washington team that will be without wide receiver Stefon Diggs.

What to watch: The Giants will finalize their active roster on Sunday ahead of a likely run-heavy divisional matchup.
