What happened: Vegas closed with a 4-2 preseason win over Los Angeles on Saturday. Ryan Craig called it "a real good effort" after the game, and Craig, Jackson Hallum and Tanner Laczynski all spoke afterward.

Why it matters: The final settled a close preseason game in Vegas' favor after Los Angeles had cut into the lead earlier. Craig's postgame line put the focus on the overall effort rather than any single sequence.

What to watch: Vegas now moves on from this preseason result, while Los Angeles heads to its next outing after a two-goal loss.
