What happened: Gradey Dick missed his first three-point attempt of Thursday's preseason game after making his first four shots from the floor, per Law Murray. LA called a timeout with 9:02 remaining in regulation while holding a 100-87 advantage.

Why it matters: Gradey Dick is still searching for his first perimeter make of the exhibition slate while finding early efficiency inside the arc. Preseason fourth-quarter stretches give rotation wings live reps to settle into offensive spacing before opening night.

By the numbers: Gradey Dick: 4-for-4 FG before missing his first 3PA of the game; 0-for-3 3PT overall in the 2026-27 preseason. Game state: LA leading 100-87 with 9:02 left.

What to watch: Dick has the final 9:02 of regulation and the remainder of the exhibition schedule to record his first three-pointer before the 2026-27 regular season tips off.
