What happened: The American League Championship Series schedule is officially set, with the Cleveland Guardians heading to Florida to face the Tampa Bay Rays for Game 1 on Monday at 8 p.m. ET. Tampa Bay enters the matchup fresh off a three game sweep of New York. Cleveland secured their berth by surviving a tight Game 5 against Chicago.

Why it matters: That disparity in playoff workload creates a significant structural edge for the home team. While Cleveland comes in with momentum, their bullpen has been heavily utilized to reach this point. The well rested Rays are positioned perfectly to exploit that fatigue right away.
