What happened: Tyrese Haliburton drove into the lane and set up Ivica Zubac for a two-point finish. The play provided an early look at their on-court timing.

Why it matters: Integrating a new center into the established offense is a priority ahead of the regular season. Zubac gives the lineup a new look, and his pick-and-roll chemistry with the primary ball-handler will dictate floor spacing.

What to watch: The rotation will log additional live-action reps before the first exhibition game.
