What happened: Miami brought a HEAT Nation stop to Québec City as the club moves through the opening stretch of the 2026-27 preseason calendar. The appearance adds a fan-facing event before exhibition games and roster decisions take over the month.

Why it matters: The Heat have spent late September shaping camp depth, with Lester Quiñones, Dennis Smith Jr. and Ian Schieffelin all added in recent days. That makes this a brief off-court marker in a stretch when Miami is balancing market visibility with training-camp competition.

What to watch: What to watch next is whether Miami pairs the Québec City stop with more preseason activations as camp competition continues into October.
