What happened: The one-night event will use a never-before-seen court and an all-new uniform. The club billed the ESPN showcase as "A Night in Vice City" and opened an event page for fans seeking details.

Why it matters: It gives Miami a national preseason window at a point on the calendar when most exhibition dates blend together. Limiting the theme to a single night also turns the Vice City brand into a focused ticket-and-merchandise event instead of a season-long alternate rollout.

What to watch: Watch for the full court and uniform design to be unveiled closer to tipoff. Additional in-arena and merchandise details should follow through the team's event rollout.
