What happened: Houston opened 2026 training camp with Nico Collins, Jayden Higgins and Tank Dell available in the receiver room. The Texans' official camp preview identified Higgins as a breakout candidate.

Why it matters: Availability alone should not restore Dell's previous place in the pecking order. Higgins has the cleaner case for steady snaps alongside Collins while Dell proves he can handle an NFL workload again.
