What happened: The 18-year-old joins the Major League Soccer side from Costa Rican club FC Moravia FCM on a deal running through the 2027 season. The left-footed center back will occupy a U22 Initiative roster slot upon receipt of his P-1 Visa and International Transfer Certificate.

Why it matters: The backline addition provides depth for a squad holding a 9-2-4 record and sitting two points behind Nashville SC in the Eastern Conference. With the MLS summer transfer window open for midseason registrations, newly acquired international signings are eligible to make immediate on-field debuts.

What to watch: Caicedo awaits the finalization of his visa requirements before integration into training sessions. His availability for matchday selection will depend on processing timelines across the midseason schedule.
