What happened: Borlase got to 18 points during Sunday WNBA action and was still adding to the total. The scoring burst set a new career mark during the league's late-season broadcast window on Prime Video.

Why it matters: A breakout scoring night gives Borlase another notable September performance as rotations tighten and every productive stretch carries more weight. It also extends a hot run for Isobel Borlase, who scored 30 in a World Cup win on Sept. 9.

What to watch: The next marker is whether Borlase pushes through the 20-point barrier before the game closes. After that, the question becomes whether the scoring burst earns her a larger offensive role in the next outing.
