What happened: Ja Morant came up with a steal and finished the play with a dunk. The sequence came during preseason action ahead of the 2026-27 season.

Why it matters: Preseason bursts are timing checks rather than results, with defensive creation and transition finishing the early markers. No standings or postseason stakes attach to the play.

What to watch: Preseason play continues ahead of regular-season tip-off.
