What happened: Travis Hunter has taken on an expanded defensive workload for Jacksonville, tracking opposing receivers across the formation in man coverage. Hunter shadowed Nico Collins side to side as coaches increased his perimeter responsibilities. Jacksonville continues to expand his defensive snaps alongside his offensive workload at wide receiver.

Why it matters: Deploying Travis Hunter as a shadow cornerback signals trust in his individual coverage against top perimeter targets. Managing two-way responsibilities allows Jacksonville greater schematic flexibility without sacrificing personnel packages. Sustained defensive growth solidifies his standing as a focal point in the secondary.

What to watch: Jacksonville visits the Baltimore Ravens next, with kickoff scheduled for Thu Nov 5 at 8:15 PM ET.
