What happened: The Jaguars dropped more passes than any team in the NFL last season, 40 in all. Trevor Lawrence still turned in a breakout season behind that drop rate, and Jacksonville heads into the 2026 offseason looking to clean up the receiving corps around him.

Why it matters: Fixing the drop problem is a direct lever on Jacksonville's ceiling, since Lawrence's per-target production was already strong before accounting for balls hitting the turf. The same Jaguars group that won 13 games last season is betting that tightening up the pass-catchers turns a breakout year into a more efficient offense in 2026.

What to watch: Watch how Jacksonville addresses its receiving room through the rest of the offseason and into training camp.
