What happened: After tying the game in Chicago, Jake Evans struck a second time and set up another tally as the Montreal Canadiens closed out a 4-1 road win over the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday.

Why it matters: Evans factored into the majority of Montreal's scoring on the night, turning an early deadlock into a decisive regulation result for the visiting Canadiens.

What to watch: The Canadiens and Blackhawks now turn to the next matchups on their regular-season slates.
