What happened: Jalen Slawson, who signed with Indiana in July, registered a defensive rejection on Wednesday.

Why it matters: Two-way wings split time between the NBA active list and the G League, making defensive stops in limited appearances key to securing rotation minutes.

By the numbers: Indiana enters play at 2-2 in the 2026-27 regular season after a 110-102 defeat on Oct. 26. Slawson turned 27 on Oct. 22 and wears No. 18.

What to watch: Slawson remains listed as available on his two-way designation as Indiana continues its early regular-season schedule.
