What happened: James Harden was dealt from Philadelphia to the LA Clippers on Nov. 1, 2023, before moving to the Cleveland Cavaliers in February 2026. Across five Clippers-76ers games and one Cavaliers-76ers contest following those trades, Harden and former teammate Joel Embiid never played against one another.

Why it matters: Harden signed a Cleveland extension on Sept. 8, keeping him on the Eastern Conference slate where meetings with Philadelphia occur more frequently than during his stint in Los Angeles.

What to watch: The Cavaliers and 76ers are currently in progress with Cleveland ahead 11-9.
