What happened: James Palmer identified Parker Washington as the primary receiver in the Jacksonville Jaguars' offense. Palmer cited the wideout's decision to decline a contract offer and bet on himself this season.

Why it matters: Washington opted to play the current campaign without a long-term extension. The strategy increases his leverage for future contract negotiations as his production scales.

What to watch: Jacksonville will feature Washington as its lead receiver throughout the remainder of the 2026 schedule.
