What happened: Orlando ruled Jase Richardson out for the remainder of Sunday's exhibition finale against Miami due to low back soreness.

Why it matters: Richardson, who turned 21 on Friday, completed training camp media sessions on Oct. 2 and Oct. 10 and made his third preseason appearance on Tuesday. The early exit cuts short his final exhibition tune-up before the 2026-27 regular season begins with Orlando's roster trimmed to 17 players.

What to watch: Orlando will address Richardson's availability ahead of regular-season opening night.
