What happened: The Utah Jazz have agreed to a two-year deal with free agent center Mo Bamba. The agreement was negotiated by Mark Bartelstein and Greer Love of Priority Sports.

Why it matters: Bamba returns to Utah after making two appearances for the team late last season. The move provides the organization with established size in the frontcourt heading into the 2026-27 campaign.

By the numbers: The 7-footer logged 38 total minutes across two games for the Jazz last season, averaging 5.0 points and 10.0 rebounds. Prior to his NBA call-up, he averaged 17.0 points, 11.7 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks in 22 games for the G League's Salt Lake City Stars.

What to watch: Utah will continue to finalize its depth chart ahead of training camp.
