What happened: Peterson was the No. 2 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft. The first installment arrives today, with further entries scheduled monthly through his rookie season with Utah.

Why it matters: High draft picks face close scrutiny while adjusting to NBA workloads and rotations. A regular diary creates a consistent record of that adjustment during Utah's preseason ramp to the 2026-27 season.

What to watch: Further installments will follow as the 2026-27 season approaches.
