Low back and right foot sideline frontcourt pair

Wire Report IntelligenceUpdated 56m1 min read

The following players are out for tonight’s preseason game against San Antonio: Kyle Filipowski (low back) Jusuf Nurkić Via @utahjazz on X

What happened: Kyle Filipowski will miss the San Antonio game with a low back issue. Jusuf Nurkic will miss the same game with a right foot issue.

Why it matters: The absences continue a preseason pattern after both missed the Denver preseason game. Open frontcourt minutes go to reserves with the 2026-27 opener approaching.

What to watch: Utah's next availability report will show whether either returns before the preseason finale. Rotation order behind them remains the watch point.
