What happened: The New York Jets have ruled out running back Breece Hall and wide receiver Adonai Mitchell for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns. Hall is sidelined with a quad injury, while Mitchell is out with a finger issue.

Why it matters: The absences leave the Jets without two key offensive pieces. Both players will miss their second consecutive game after being ruled out against Chicago last week.

By the numbers: Per ESPN, Hall ran 243 times for 1,065 yards and four touchdowns in 16 games with New York in 2025. Mitchell caught 33 passes for 453 yards and two touchdowns split between the Colts and Jets last season.

What to watch: New York will need its reserve running backs and depth receivers to absorb the vacated offensive snaps on Sunday.
